Police seek public’s assistance locating missing man

LĪHUʻE – The Kaua‘i Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing adult male.

John A. Navarro, age 41, of Lihue, was reported missing on Thursday, Feb. 29, 2024.  The reporting family member, who lives out of state, last spoke to Navarro via telephone on or about Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2024. 

Navarro is 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighs approximately 135 pounds and has brown eyes and black hair. He has his last name tattooed on his upper back and distinctive tattoos on his right shoulder and right hand. He is also known for doing shoreline fishing at the Nukoli’i beach.  

Anyone with information about Navarro’s whereabouts on Kaua‘i is urged to call KPD Dispatch at 241-1711. Those wishing to remain anonymous can provide information by calling Crime Stoppers Kaua‘i at 808-246-8300, submitting a tip at cskauai.org, or through the Crime Stoppers Kaua‘i P3 Tips Mobile App.
