Po‘ipū Beach Park to close Nov. 5 to 6 for maintenance

POʻIPŪ – The Department of Parks and Recreation announces that Po‘ipū Beach Park will be closed November 5 to 6, in addition to the previously announced parking lot closure, for continued maintenance and Hurricane Lowell related work. Both Po‘ipū Beach Park and the parking lot are anticipated to reopen November 7.

The closure will allow DOPR staff and partner agencies to complete necessary maintenance and cleanup work, including returning displaced sand to the beach and removing unstable tree root systems that have been compromised.
