LĪHU‘E – The County of Kaua‘i’s Agency on Elderly Affairs (AEA) will host a presentation with Kupuna Alert Partners focusing on Fraud and Scam Prevention on Wednesday, Feb. 12.

The event will be held at Kaua‘i War Memorial Convention Hall. In-person registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. Resource tables with community providers will be open for viewing before the Kupuna Alert Partners presentation, beginning at 9:30 a.m. Resource tables will resume once the presentation is finished around 10:30 a.m. This event will also have resource tables with information from community partners for viewing.

This multi-agency partnership will provide information on Medicare and securities fraud prevention and prescription drug misuse. It will also include information on identity theft scams and how to prevent yourself from becoming a victim.
