LĪHUʻE – The Solid Waste Division announces that due to staffing issues, residential trash collection will not occur today, July 22, for the areas of Kekaha, Waimea, and portions of Hanapēpē. Officials anticipate that those areas will be serviced in the latter half of the week. Officials advise residents to leave their bins out, as service may occur before the estimated pickup days later this week. Additionally, residential trash collection in the Kapa‘a and Wailua Homesteads areas that was not serviced yesterday will be done today. Mahalo for your patience and understanding during this time.
