‘ELE‘ELE - The Department of Public Works and Earthworks Pacific are announcing that ‘Ele‘ele Road will continue to be closed from Sept. 3 to Sept. 13, daily, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The full road closure of ‘Ele‘ele Road will be at the intersection of Kaumuali‘i Highway and extend to Melemele Road. The road closure is necessary for the installation of a new sewer line. Motorists are urged to use alternate routes and to expect brief and occasional delays.
Please exercise caution and drive slowly when commuting through the work area, which is narrow and near the homes of residents. The speed limit is 25 mph for the entire length of the work area.
