Tenant applications now being accepted for Uahi Ridge Phase I

LĪHU‘E – The Housing Agency announces that tenant applications are now being accepted by Mark Development Inc. for Uahi Ridge Phase I, a new affordable rental housing community in Līhu‘e developed in partnership by the Housing Agency and Mark Development Inc.
Uahi Ridge is a two-phase affordable rental housing community being developed through a partnership between Mark Development, Inc., Ikenakea Development, and Waʻa Partners. Phase I will provide 96 one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments for households earning up to 60% of the Area Median Income.
Applications for Uahi Ridge Phase I will be accepted through August 25, for inclusion in the initial lottery, which will be held on August 31. The lottery, together with the applicable preferences established in the property’s Tenant Selection Plan, will determine the order in which applications are processed. Applications received after the deadline will be processed after the initial lottery pool in accordance with the Tenant Selection Plan.
Applicants may apply online through the Uahi Ridge Phase I Application Portal.
Uahi Ridge Phase I is anticipated to be ready for occupancy in October 2026. The community will include family-oriented amenities such as community space, a playground, picnic and barbecue areas, and more.
Uahi Ridge is located at 4534 Uahi Rd., Līhuʻe, HI 96766, near Kukui Grove Center, Wilcox Medical Center, Kauaʻi Medical Clinic, Walmart, government offices, public transportation, shopping, services, and major employment centers.
Applications received after August 25 will not be included in the initial lottery. After all lottery applications have been processed, late applications will be reviewed in accordance with the property's Tenant Selection Plan.
Submitting an application or being selected in the lottery does not guarantee housing.
