The Kaua‘i Bus announces modified in schedule in Līhu‘e for June 14

LĪHU‘E - The Kauai Bus announces the following route adjustments for the 70 Lihue Shuttle on Saturday June 14, from 8 to 11 a.m. 

 Due to the King Kamehameha Day Parade on Rice Street, the following stops will not be serviced:

• Rice Street / Hoolako Street.
• Rice Street / Kalena Street.
• Rice Street / Hardy Street.
• Rice Street / Umi Street.
• Rice Street / Ewalu Street.
• Eiwa Street (Līhu‘e Civic Center)

The following roads will be closed from 8 to 11 a.m.:

• Rice Street, from Hookalo Street to Eiwa Street;
• Hoolako Street, from Vidniha Stadium to Rice Street;
• Umi Street, from Hardy Street to Rice Street; and
• Eiwa Street, from Hardy Street to Rice Street;

The 7:55 a.m., 8:55 a.m., and 9:55 a.m. Līhu‘e Shuttles will go from across the Garden Island Inn straight to Līhu‘e Gardens,  and from Līhu‘e Gardens to Garden Island Inn.
