LĪHU'E - The Kauaʻi Bus is announcing a special promotion offering 100 no-cost Hōlomua Transit Cards, each preloaded with $5, to the first 100 riders who come in to claim them. The promotion coincides with the launch of the new Route 900 and Route 950 services, which expand public transportation options for the community.
Beginning January 5, eligible riders may pick up a free card in person at the County of Kauaʻi Transportation Agency, located at 3220 Hoolako Street in Līhuʻe.
The offer is available on a first-come, first-served basis, with one card per rider, while supplies last.
The Hōlomua Transit Card offers a convenient and easy way to access Kauaʻi’s public bus system. The launch of Routes 900 and 950, along with this free card promotion, reflects the County’s ongoing commitment to improving mobility, accessibility, and affordability for residents and visitors.
