UPDATE: Temporary schedule change for ongoing work along Haleilio Road

KAPA‘A – The Department of Public Works and its contractor, Maui Kupono Builders, announce a temporary schedule change for ongoing work along Haleilio Road in Kapa‘a. From Monday, April 27, through Wednesday, April 29, work will occur overnight from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., due to the project’s proximity to Kūhiō Highway and the significant traffic impacts that would occur during daytime hours.

Outside of these dates, single-lane closures will continue from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., weather permitting, with work remaining ongoing through May 1.

KAPA‘A – The Department of Public Works and its contractor, Maui Kupono Builders, are announcing single lane closures along Haleilio Road in Kapa‘a from April 8 to May 1, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., weather permitting.

The following closures are necessary for road repaving work.

Please make the appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary lane closures, use alternate routes, and allow extra time to get to destinations. Flaggers will be positioned at the work zone to direct traffic.
