• Please use this email to submit written testimony on an upcoming agenda item. It is helpful for testifiers to note the meeting date, identify the agenda item, and submit separate communications when testifying on more than one agenda item.

• All public testimony—whether oral or written, submitted by mail, electronically, or in-person—is public record and subject to public disclosure (including being posted online). Additionally, public testimony will not be redacted, so testifiers may want to avoid sharing personal information.

• These emails are received by Council Services Staff. Emails that constitute testimony are later distributed to Councilmembers at the appropriate time.

• Communications to a Councilmember or Councilmembers by means other than the above email address may still constitute testimony if it reasonably appears to be testimony relating to an agenda item. Those communications may be distributed to all Councilmembers, made publicly available, and posted online.

• Emails not reasonably understood to be testimony are retained by the Council Services Division as government records but are not distributed to Councilmembers.

• Emails and other forms of written testimony received after the meeting begins are retained by the Council Services Division as government records but may or may not be distributed to Councilmembers.
