 2026 Summer Fun Program

Fee $75.00 Per Child

* Parents must provide child with lunch, snacks & drinks 

Daily morning and afternoon snacks and drinks will be provided by the County of Kauai.

Summer Fun Golf Program

Session I      June 16 to June 27, 2025

Session II    June 30 to July 11, 2025 (except July 4)

Session III   July 14 to July 25, 2025

**Limited enrollment to the first 25 applicants.

OPEN TO BOYS & GIRLS AGES 7-15 (Age 7 at time of registration)

REGISTRATION FEE: $35.00 per child, per session

REGISTRATION DATE: Monday, June 9, 2025

8:00 am – 5:00 pm at the Wailua Golf Pro Shop

Registration shall be received at least 1 week prior to each session

LEAD INSTRUCTOR: Darrel Rego (Wailua Golf Course Pro Shop)

DAYS/HOURS OF INSTRUCTION: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 am – noon; Friday, 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm

END OF INSTRUCTION PICK-UP TIME: No later than 12:30 p.m., Monday-Thursday; and 5:30 p.m. on Fridays

**No classes on Friday, July 4, 2025 in observance of Independence Day.

ATTIRE: Casual wear with sport shoes. (NO SOCCER, BASEBALL OR SPIKED GOLF SHOES!!!)

EQUIPMENT: Minimum of a Putter, 5, 7, 9 Irons, Wedge, Driver and a golf bag.

NOTE: We recommend that you provide your child with sunscreen, a hat and sunglasses (optional); and a snack & beverage, as there are no snacks available at the Wailua Golf Course.

IMPORTANT:

Only Parent(s) or Legal Guardian(s) of the child must sign the waiver form. If you are not that person, but are signing the form for them, you must attach a Power-of-Attorney or notarized document stating you are legally authorized to sign on behalf of the Parent(s) or Legal Guardian(s).

You will be required to show your driver’s license or an identification card to verify your I.D. and signature.

Junior Leader Program

Youth, ages 12 through 16, are eligible to take part in our Junior Leader Program. Interested youth are required to submit an application including a one-page essay. There are three (3) positions available per program site. This program provides youth with an opportunity for personal development, community service, and career sampling.

  • Ages 12-16
  • Provides youth an opportunity to experience working with participants of the Summer Fun Program.
  • Can be used as volunteer hours for future academic purposes
  • Must apply and submit an essay on "How being a Junior Leader will impact my life"
  • Deadline to apply: First Friday in June
