Electric vehicle chargers along Eiwa Street unavailable July 16 to 17

The Department of Parks and Recreation announces that the electric vehicle chargers and their respective parking stalls in the county parking lot along Eiwa Street will be temporarily unavailable on Wednesday, July 16, to Thursday, July 17.

KŌLOA – In celebration of Smart Irrigation Month, the Department of Water (DOW) announces a talk story event on native Hawaiian plants in collaboration with the National Tropical Botanical Garden (NTBG). This free event will be held on Friday, July 18, at 2 p.m. at the Kōloa Public and School Library.

Planning Department launches public art contest for Hanapēpē Monument

The Planning Department is inviting artists, designers, and architects from Hawai‘i and beyond to respond to a Request for Interest (RFI) for a public art monument to be located at the historic 1924 Battle of Hanapēpē, also known as the Hanapēpē Massacre site.
