Kauai Sign Permit

The County of Kaua‘i Building Division has implemented a new online system for submitting and processing sign permit applications.

 

The new process is as follows:

 

  1. At Connect.Kauai.gov create your own personal account, or login to your existing account.
  2. Under Public Works/Building, click on the sign permit application icon.
  3. Follow the system prompts and tab through the application process.
  4. Upload all necessary documents.
  5. Once the application is submitted, it will be reviewed by Public Works/Building Division and Planning Department (if needed) for zoning requirements. You will receive an automated email as to the status of your application.
  6. When the review process is complete, you will receive an automated email.
