Līhu‘e, Kaua‘i – Ballot packets for the 2024 General Election will be mailed to active voters on October 15, 2024 and should begin arriving soon after.

As a friendly reminder to voters who used to receive mail via a PO Box at the now closed Keālia Post Office, if you have not already done so, please reregister to vote with a new mailing address.  Unlike regular mail, the United States Postal Service (USPS) cannot forward a ballot packet to a voter’s new mailing address even if a voter completed a USPS forwarding order.  Voters who reregister after October 15th will be sent a ballot in a later mailing.

If you receive a ballot packet for someone who is no longer at the address, please write, “NOT AT THIS ADDRESS,” and place it back in the USPS mail.  The returned ballot packet will be used to flag the corresponding voter’s registration record and help to identify outdated records in the voter file.

Ballot drop boxes for the 2024 General Election will be deployed on October 17th and 18th, at the following locations:

Thursday, October 17, 2024

Kōloa Neighborhood Center (3461 Weliweli Road)
