The County of Kauaʻi Housing Agency encourages the public to complete the Kaua‘i Community Survey on Homelessness, as the agency begins the process to develop a Kaua‘i County Five Year Homelessness Strategic Plan.

The survey is anonymous and open until May 10 at the following link: Kaua'i County Community Survey on Homelessness (surveymonkey.com). The survey is brief and aims to understand perspectives on the experience, impacts, and solutions of homelessness on Kaua‘i. All are encouraged to participate and share the link with others.

The first phase of the Kaua‘i County Five Year Homelessness Strategic Plan involves engaging the community, homeless service providers, and people experiencing homelessness in surveys, focus groups, interviews, and listening sessions.

The information gathered from this initial planning stage will inform the development of a needs assessment and draft strategic plan that will be shared with the community for additional feedback later in the summer.

For more information or if you need an auxiliary aid/service or other accommodation due to a disability, contact Farah Aquino at 808-241-4427 or  faquino@kauai.gov as soon as possible. Requests made as early as possible will allow adequate time to fulfill your request. Upon request, this notice is available in alternate formats such as large print, Braille, or electronic copy.
