Waimea Athletic Field restrooms closed from May 13 to June 30

WAIMEA – The Department of Parks and Recreation (DOPR) is announcing that the Waimea Athletic Field restrooms near Huakai Road, by the basketball courts, will be closed from May 13 to June 30, weather permitting.

The complete closure is necessary for full renovations. During this period, portable toilets will be available near the parking lot, and the restrooms near Kaumuali‘i Highway will also be available for park users.

The general contractor for the project is Pacific Blue Construction. The Department of Parks and Recreation thanks the public for their patience and understanding.
