(Updated 4/13/24)

(8 a.m.) HAENA - The Department of Water has lifted the conservation notice for Haena-Wainiha customers as of approximately 8 a.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2024. Water tank levels have stabilized to normal operations and customers may now resume normal water use.

HAENA – The Department of Water (DOW) has issued an immediate water conservation request for Powerhouse Road until further notice, due to an electrical power outage.  Customers are advised to limit water use to essential needs only, such as drinking, cooking and sanitation purposes, in order to avoid a full water service outage.

Water conservation measures include turning off plumbing fixtures and appliances that automatically draw water such as ice machines and irrigation systems, refraining from car washing and using water wisely indoors and outdoors.

An update will be posted to the DOW’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/KauaiDOW and sent via Kauai County Alerts, when the conservation notice is lifted.
