County of Kauaʻi Life’s Choices Awards $1 Million

LĪHUʻE, KAUAʻI – Prosecuting Attorney Rebecca Like today announced the recipients of $1,000,000 in grant funding. 13 non-profit community organizations will be receiving grants through the Life’s Choices Adult and Adolescent Mental Health and Substance Abuse Grant Program.

Kaua‘i-Ishigaki Sister City Reaffirmation Ceremony held Tuesday

LĪHUʻE – A special ceremony was held Tuesday at the Kaua‘i War Memorial Convention Hall, to reaffirm the resolution between Kaua‘i County and Ishigaki City, Okinawa Prefecture, Japan, as affiliated sister cities. This year also marks the 60th anniversary since Kaua‘i County and Ishigaki City established a sister city relationship which was signed in May 1963.
