Battery recycling and free composting bins will still be available. (Compost bin distribution is on Friday from 8:00 am-3:30 pm)

The facility features a
HI-5 deposit redemption center, and FREE recycling drop off for Residents and Businesses. The Kauai Resource Center accepts cardboard, newspaper, mixed paper, glass, plastic #1 & #2, aluminum cans and residentially generated household batteries. The HI5 Redemption Center is open: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 7:30 to 4:15 closed on Wednesdays and Sundays. Customers please note traffic patterns. To use Redemption Center and/or drop off recycling, please enter through the gate via the Lihue Transfer Station entrance way (2nd left) and exit using the main gate through the Kaua'i Resource Center parking lot.
