County announces holiday closures

LĪHU‘E – In observance of King Kamehameha Day, County of Kaua‘i offices will be closed on Wednesday, June 11.

Closures also include the following facilities on June 11:

• All neighborhood centers;
• The Waimea and Kapa‘a swimming pools;
• All refuse transfer stations;
• The Kekaha Landfill;
• The Puhi Metals Recycling Center; and
• The HI5 redemption centers in Līhu‘e and Kekaha.

The schedule for residential refuse pick-up will remain unchanged. 

The HI5 redemption center in Kapa‘a operated by Kaua‘i Community Recycling Services (KCRS) located at 962 Kipuni Way will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Kaua‘i Bus will be operating on its current daily schedule.

Regular business hours for county offices and services will resume on Thursday, June 12.
