KALĀHEO – The Department of Public Works and its contractor, The Cutting-Edge Land Clearing Solutions, are announcing emergency single lane and full road closures along portion of Wawae Road in Kalāheo November 11, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., weather permitting.
The road closure is necessary for the public’s safety and to allow the contractor to trim and remove hazardous trees hanging above the roadway.
Please make the appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary road closures and allow extra time to get to destinations. During this time, no parking will be allowed in the work zones. Flaggers will be positioned at the work zone to direct traffic.
