Kīlauea HI5 Mobile Redemption Center closed for remainder of the day

KĪLAUEA – The Kīlauea HI5 Mobile Redemption Center, operated by Kaua‘i Community Recycling Services (KCRS), has closed for the remainder of today, Feb. 20, due to inclement weather.

Under regular operations, the Kīlauea mobile redemption center is open on Tuesdays and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., weather permitting.

Other HI5 redemption center locations and hours of operation are as follows:

  • Kapa‘a HI5 Redemption Center (KCRS) – Open Tuesday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Līhu‘e HI5 Redemption Center (Reynolds Recycling) – Open Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a lunch closure from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
  • Kōloa HI5 Redemption Center (KCRS) – Open Thursdays and Sundays, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Kekaha HI5 Redemption Center (KCRS) – Open Wednesdays and Saturdays, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Residents are encouraged to arrive at least 30 minutes before closing, as hours may vary due to weather or holidays.
