LĪHU‘E – The Kauaʻi Police Department (KPD) is advising the public of temporary road closures and traffic restrictions in the vicinity of Vidinha Stadium in Līhuʻe on Saturday, July 4, for the Kaua‘i Hospice 33rd Annual “Concert in the Sky.”
KPD will close off the following roads at approximately 8:30 p.m. for the duration of the fireworks show:
From 8:30 p.m. to approximately 10 p.m. traffic flow on Kauaʻi Veterans Memorial Highway will be northbound only from Ka’ana Street, and southbound only from Halau Street.
KPD officers will be stationed at major intersections to direct traffic flow from the event.
Motorists should drive with caution and allow additional time to get to their destination as traffic delays are expected.
