Stop the Bleed

Minutes count! Someone who is severely bleeding can bleed to death in as little as 5 minutes.  That's why bleeding control-keeping the blood inside the body-is the purpose of STOP THE BLEED training. Visit STOP THE BLEED for more information.

To schedule a training or for inquiries please email kfdpreventionbureau@kauai.gov or Firefighter John Jenson at jjensen@kauai.gov. The training is free and takes 45 minutes to an hour.  There is a maximum of 24 individuals per session.
