Used Cooking Oil Recycling

Used Cooking Oil can be properly disposed of by pouring into a box with absorbent material such as saw dust, kitty litter, old towels, and/or shredded paper. Once the oil is absorbed, the box should be placed in a garbage bag and disposed of in the trash. If residents have large amounts of cooking oil, they can collaborate with a local restaurant. Most restaurants have grease bins whose contents are recycled.
