Request for Interest–Artist Submissions for the Hanapēpē Monument
The County of Kauaʻi is seeking artist to create a monument honoring the lives lost in the 1924 Battle of Hanapēpē. The monument will be located on a 0.2867-acre parcel in Hanapēpē, Kona Moku. This Request for Information (RFI) is the first step in a two-phase process to select an artist or team to create the monument and foster community healing and remembrance.
Artists, designers, and architects are invited to review the RFI document linked below and submit their qualifications and proposed approach to the project.
