The department, upon request, provides instructions on the State liquor laws and the Commission’s rules and regulations to the Police Department, bartenders, waitresses, and employees in liquor licensed premises.
PLEASE READ PRIOR TO SENDING EMPLOYEES FOR BLUE CARD EXAM!
Due to health and safety concerns related to the COVID-19 pandemic, Red and Blue card testing will be done on Wednesday's by appointment only (space is limited). You will be required to provide a picture I.D. and pass a written exam in order to obtain a Red or Blue Card. Please contact our office should you have any questions or to schedule an appointment.
NO TRAINING OTHER THAN THAT PROVIDED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF LIQUOR CONTROL CAN BE USED AS A SUBSTITUTE TO OBTAIN A RED CARD OR A BLUE CARD.
ANY CLAIM BY OTHER ORGANIZATIONS OFFERING TRAINING WHICH STATES THAT UPON COMPLETION YOU WILL BE CERTIFIED TO OBTAIN A RED CARD OR BLUE CARD IS INCORRECT.
