The department, upon request,
provides instructions on the State liquor laws and the Commission’s rules and
regulations to the Police Department, bartenders, waitresses, and employees in
liquor licensed premises.
Due to health and safety concerns related to the COVID-19 pandemic, Red and Blue card testing will be done on Wednesday's by appointment only (space is limited). You will be required to provide a picture I.D. and pass a written exam in order to obtain a Red or Blue Card. Please contact our office should you have any questions or to schedule an appointment.
NO TRAINING OTHER THAN THAT PROVIDED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF LIQUOR CONTROL CAN BE USED AS A SUBSTITUTE TO OBTAIN A RED CARD OR A BLUE CARD.
ANY CLAIM BY OTHER ORGANIZATIONS OFFERING TRAINING WHICH STATES THAT UPON COMPLETION YOU WILL BE CERTIFIED TO OBTAIN A RED CARD OR BLUE CARD IS INCORRECT.

Beginning next week our office will begin mailing out packets for Fiscal Year 2020-2021 Liquor License Renewals. As is our usual protocol, packets will be sent to the mailing address provided on your previous year's renewal, or to the address listed on your initial application if you are a new licensee. If you do not receive your packet by the end of April, please contact our office at 241-4966 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. PLEASE NOTE: Per Rule 2.6, applications shall be submitted NO EARLIER THAN June 1, and NO LATER than June 30.
As we are unsure when our office return to its normal operations due to the COVID-19 events, we would greatly appreciate your cooperation in trying to make the renewal process as smooth as possible.
Please make sure to read through the packet documents thoroughly to ensure you follow all procedures accordingly, and obtain the correct documents, and contact us should you have any questions regarding the renewal requirements. This will help avoid any delays or problems with processing your application.
