Abandoned Vehicles Update

Temporary Suspension of Abandoned & Derelict Vehicle Services (Effective May 1, 2026)

Due to capacity issues at the County’s metals recycling contractor, abandoned and derelict vehicle services are temporarily suspended.

  • Online reporting is currently unavailable.
  • Members of the public are advised not to call KPD Dispatch regarding abandoned vehicle pickups during this time.

This suspension is temporary. Updates will be provided when services resume.
